Hallmark Channel Hallmark Channel is honoring the one-and-only Jane Austen with a month of original movie premieres inspired by the author’s work. “Jane Austen’s stories are timeless and continue to resonate with readers and viewers of all ages,” Lisa Hamilton Daly, Executive Vice President, Programming, Hallmark Media, said in a news release. “Our movies will bring her beloved characters to life in fresh, new ways and honor the many women who continue to be inspired by them.” Loveuary with Jane Austen includes four all-new original movies set to premiere every Saturday in February: Paging Mr. Darcy February 3 at 8:00 p.m. EST Starring Mallory Jansen and Will Kemp, a love of Jane Austen’s stories helps two people to overcome their pride and admit to their belief in love. Love & Jane February 10 at 8:00 p.m. EST A woman finds guidance from Jane Austen, quite literally, in Love & Jane and starring Alison Sweeney and Benjamin Ayres. An American in Austen February 17 at 8:00 p.m. EST Starring Eliza Bennett, Nicholas Bishop, and Nell Barlow, in An American in Austen, a librarian who thinks that no man can live up to Mr. Darcy gets an unexpected chance to find out if that’s true. Sense & Sensibility February 24 at 8:00 p.m. EST Hallmark Mahogany presents a “sumptuously beautiful” adaptation of Sense & Sensibility starring Deborah Ayorinde, Bethany Antonia, Dan Jeannotte, and Akil Largie. But wait, there’s more! Hallmark is also launching a virtual Hallmark Channel Book Club led by Hallmark Channel’s Chief Fan Officer, Jenny Forwark. In this all-new club fans will discuss this season’s Loveuary premieres, the legacy of Jane Austen, and the importance of female-focused storytelling.
